Pophouse and the Avicii Estate have officially launched “Stories on Stories,” a three-part YouTube mini-series taking fans inside the creative process behind Avicii’s 2015 album, Stories. Marking the album’s 10th anniversary this year, the series opens an intimate window into Tim “Avicii” Bergling’s world, fulfilling his wish to one day let fans experience his artistry firsthand.
The debut episode transports viewers to Los Angeles, where Avicii and collaborator Alex Ebert are seen building the track ‘For a Better Day‘ from scratch. This footage reveals Avicii’s dedication to melody, his sharp structural ear, and the deep trust that characterized his collaborations.
The mini-series draws inspiration from a 2015 interview where Avicii mentioned filming every studio session. The final product blends this unseen footage with new reflections from his collaborators.
Upcoming Episodes and Collaborators
Future episodes of “Stories on Stories” will feature contributions from artists and producers like Gavin DeGraw, Rami Yacoub, and Wyclef Jean. These installments will spotlight other key tracks, including ‘Sunset Jesus‘, showcasing how Avicii’s distinctive songwriting and production methods shaped the album’s iconic energy.
