Justice, the renowned electronic music duo from France, will return in 2024 with a new album and tour. During an interview with top French entertainment and variety radio program France Inter, Ed Banger Records label founder Pedro Winter revealed that Justice will release their fourth studio album next year, as well as going on tour. The fourth album, which will be their first since 2016’s Woman, is yet to have a release date. However, next year’s tour will certainly have a colorful array of past hits joining alongside the upcoming album’s exciting new tracks.
Justice returning after 7 years
Justice still composes of the duo Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay. Since releasing their debut album in 2008, Cross (stylized as †), Justice dropped Audio, Video, Disco in 2011 and the aforementioned Woman in 2016. With each track and album release, the duo shows a electro-house style that incorporate musical influences from diverse genres such as disco, funk, and even heavy metal. The multiple musical instruments the duo use in their production and live equipment setups provide more evidence to back up their multi-skilled repertoire.
The duo’s vibrant style of addicting electro house still attracts new fans
The open-minded incorporation of musical influences, for example, led to the duo receiving a Grammy nomination in 2008 for their lead single on Cross, ‘D.A.N.C.E.’ and also an MTV Europe Music Award and an NME Award for the single’s music video. To celebrate their musical beginnings, Justice released the 15th anniversary edition of their debut album last year. In June 2021, Gaspard AugĂ© even unveiled his own solo album, Escapades. For many people who are fans of Justice’s vibrant style of electro-house, the release of their upcoming album and the awaited tour are things to get very ecstatic about.
