Oliver Heldens Drops ‘Blue Monday’ With JD Davis

Blue Mondays on a Friday? Oliver Heldens is trying to brighten up the start of your week at the end of it. His latest track with JD Davis ‘Blue Monday’ will surely get your feet moving. It feels like his classic sound but with some influence from his alias HI-LO. That project is doing really well in itself. His latest is, of course, a nod to the homonymous 1983 hit from New Order.

‘Blue Monday’ kicks off with JD Davis’ powerful vocal. It is really a signature in many ways. This tune really blends a few decades of music with the vocals feeling late 90s/early 2000s. The drop however is modern and back rock any club. Some retro analog synths in there take you back even further in time.

Oliver Heldens has been in the industry for a long time and continues to expand his sound. Heldens has never shied away from releasing music you might not expect from him and that is why he’s loved. He doesn’t stay static and instead continues to forge forward. ‘Blue Monday’ is the next great example of his ever-expanding project. Make sure to check it out below!
