Last week, Tiësto – born Tijs Michiel Verwest – announced its big return to Ibiza for the upcoming summer. The legendary DJ and producer will perform every Tuesday from July 4th to August 29th of 2023 at Ushuaïa Ibiza, ending a 10-year hiatus of residency at the famous island. The Dutch artist broke the news in a video posted on his socials, as you can see below.
With a new album coming out in a month (April 21), Tiësto is looking forward to one of the biggest years of his career with this residency announcement. As a matter of fact, the man announced his seventh studio album, Drive, only a few weeks ago, alongside his latest release, ‘All Nighter‘. Surely, a lot of the songs featured on the album will be played in Ibiza during his residency. Speaking of which, here is what he had to say about his return to Ibiza.
“Ibiza has always been a special place to me and I couldn’t be more excited to come back to the island! I can’t wait for this summer to start and to reunite with the party people of Ibiza!”
Ushuaïa Ibiza adds another household name in the industry to its summer lineup in Tiësto. In fact, the outdoor superclub has already booked the likes of Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix, and Kygo for the summer, with even more shows across the board.
