Simon Doty Announces Debut Album ‘Universal Language’ And Tour

The Anjunadeep local will be releasing his first Long Play work at the end of April, featuring solo tracks, collaborations, and various singers.

Simon Doty has turned into one of the most solid artists of the British record label Anjunadeep these past years. Ever since his debut on the imprint in 2019 with his collaboration with Zein ‘Sama’ he’s kept a continuous flow of songs coming in hot, only proving why, previous to his arrival at James Grant’s label, he’d already been releasing on labels like Days Like Nights and Einmusika.

Doty has just announced he’ll be sharing his first-ever album titled Universal Language on the 28th of April via Anjunadeep. The LP will contain ten tracks and will feature acts such as My Friend, Artche, Roland Clark, and Ursula Rucker. Crafted for the dancefloor, it will span a range of musical styles Simon plays in his DJ sets, ranging from House to Deep House to Melodic TechnoClick this link to pre-order Universal Language.

“We’re starting to lose the groove in underground dance music. This album is partly about showing people that club music can still be melodic and emotional.” – Simon Doty

‘Soulflow’ (feat. Ursula Rucker)

Simon Doty’s first track lifted from Universal Language is a piece he produced with spoken word artist Ursula Rucker, called ‘Soulflow‘. Combining her vocals with stabbing chords and a driving bassline, Simon further cements his signature House sound. The song instantly reminds you of the house that was a hit during the nineties and noughties. The vocal chops even bring back the Snap! feel. Listen to ‘Soulflow’ by clicking below.
