English electronic duo Gorgon City has released their first song of 2023, ‘Rumblah,’ months after their last drop, Sidewindah (feat. Flirta D). The song is even-tempoed for the first minute before dropping into a high-fevered dance melody that induces visualizations of a shuffling crowd under frenzied lasers.
Gorgon City, made up of North London producers Kye “Foamo” Gibbon and Matt “RackNRuin” Robson-Scott, hit the scene in 2012 and their debut single ‘Real‘ peaked at number 44 on the UK Singles Chart. Since then, they’ve had a number of hits, including ‘Real Life,’ ‘Imagination‘ and most notably ‘Ready for Your Love,’ which has more than 114 million listens on Spotify.
Their last album, Olympia, was a global hit, topping the UK Dance charts with iconic collabs with the likes of Sofi Tukker and DRAMA. The duo hasn’t announced any tour dates for 2023 but after a number of sold-out shows and headlining an elrow party, expect some epic venue drops soon. In the meantime, get caught up on their music.
