Our favorite House duo is back with new music. SIDEPIECE has dropped a new record that will have us feeling ‘Reborn.’ The tune features capturing vocals right out of the gate. It tells a comeback story of a man being used. Even though he is “down and out” he believes in a new day. This record doesn’t feature a traditional 8-bar build and gets right into the action.
The groovy chorus will be stuck in your head all day. Super catchy vocals with a plucky bass has our feet moving. I can see this one going off in the club and also on the radio. The second drop adds some more elements leaving our ears happy. The theme evolves into a love track and this man seems to be back.
SIDEPIECE recently sat down with us to discuss touring and house music. The duo is of course comprised of Dylan Ragland (Party Favor) and Ricky Mears (Nitti Gritti). At only three years old, SIDEPIECE has already racked up some of the most prestigious awards in dance music. They received a GRAMMY nomination for Best Dance Recording in 2021. This was for the #1 most supported dance record in the world in 2020, and Platinum and Gold certifications in a dozen countries for their breakout hit “On My Mind.”
