Hardwell Brings The Heat, Drops Highly Anticipated Album, REBELS NEVER DIE

Hardwell is back in action, and we could not be more excited! After a four-year hiatus, the Revealed Records label head has returned, and in a big way. If you were in attendance at this year’s Ultra Music Festival, I’m sure you know exactly what I’m talking about. If not, then keep reading. This past March, Hardwell closed out UMF, debuting his new sound, and playing his new album to the masses in the process. Since then, he’s dropped a new track for what seems like every other week or so. Now, the entire album is out. This is huge when you consider that just last week he was teasing the full tracklisting. Without further adieu, I bring you Hardwell’s ‘REBELS NEVER DIE’.

REBELS NEVER DIE

This past July, the ‘Big Room Never Dies’ producer sat down with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, and briefly spoke about his need to evolve. REBELS NEVER DIE ultimately is this evolution. When asked about his need to evolve, the Dutch DJ/ Record Producer had the following to say:

“I really felt even for dance music it was time for a change. Even for me as an artist I think if you are a true fan, you will appreciate that I’m developing my sound and trying something new. I’m not saying this is better or my old stuff is better. Nothing is better, it’s different, but it’s great for an artist.

I think you should appreciate it as a fan, an artist that he’s trying to develop new stuff, trying new styles, try to combine new stuff. Same goes with Swedish House Mafia, they did something totally new, refreshing, but same goes for them, people expect a new Don’t You Worry Child, that’s what they expect.

They expect a new One or Save the World. And same goes for me, they expect the new Bigroom song or the same formula that I hated at that moment when I took the sabbatical.”

Having said that, and having given ‘REBELS NEVER DIE’ a proper listen I for one, am grateful for his sabbatical. With that said, I highly recommend checking out this album for yourself.

With a tracklist 14 songs deep, this is the perfect album to throw on, and get lost in. Having said that, Hardwell’s ‘REBELS NEVER DIE’ is a whopping 54 minutes, and 56 seconds long. If you’re a fan of Hardwell, big room / techno, or just want some new music to listen to, then this is the album for you. Hardwell’s ‘REBELS NEVER DIE’ is out now via Revealed Music, and can be streamed below, enjoy!
