The Chainsmokers Share Official Trailer, Tracklist For ‘So Far So Good’

The Chainsmokers have released the official trailer for their brand new album called So Far So Good. This LP will be the first since 2019 chart-topping World War Joy. This is the result of a time of redefinition and rest by the producers and DJs after a hectic time on tour.

This preview shows clips of Pall and Taggart on their journey of creating the new LP. The images show the two surfing in Hawaii, playing packed concerts, and working on the project in the studio. The trailer also revealed the full tracklist for the album, it will consist of 13 tracks, between them we can find singles such as ‘iPad‘ and ‘High‘. This work will be available in six weeks, revealing May 13 as its official release date.

According to The Chainsmokers, the album title derives from a quote from La Haine, a French crime drama film released in 1995. They found optimism in a particular annotation, which they believe encapsulates the album’s matter:

“Heard about the guy who fell off a skyscraper? On his way down past each floor, he kept saying to reassure himself, ‘So far so good… so far so good… so far so good.’ How you fall doesn’t matter. It’s how you land.”

In a message, The Chainsmokers said the next thing about their next LP:

“What a ride it’s been with you all to get to this point. We always tell ourselves…so far so good. Hopefully, it’s all you will be saying soon too.”

Alex Pall and Drew Taggart are primarily responsible for not only songwriting but also production but the album is full of splashes from regular collaborators like Emily Warren, Ian Kirkpatrick and Whethan.
