Vintage Culture & Maxi Jazz Start A ‘Commotion’ With New Collab

Still fresh off his ‘Nightjar‘ collaboration with Sonny Fodera and his Cercle set in Brazil last month, Vintage Culture is back with another collaboration featuring the iconic Maxi Jazz. Released via Spinnin’ Records, ‘Commotion‘ combines Jazz’ spoken word vocals with Vintage Culture’s melodic production for a mesmerizing track made for the dancefloor.

Maxi Jazz is a multitalented musician, rapper, singer, songwriter, and DJ. His claim to fame was in the late 90’s to early 00’s as co-founder and lead vocalist of the British electronic band Faithless. His hip-hop/spoken word vocal style has become recognizable within the music world, making him a perfect addition to this track.

Vintage Culture has been on the rise the past couple years, with prolific output and a consistent presence on major festivals across the globe. Here’s what he had to say about his collaboration with Maxi Jazz:

‘The lyrical wizardry of Maxi Jazz has been an inspiration for many years. Few artists can create such a vivid lyrical picture and simultaneously put these words to melody as Maxi. It is an honor to work with this legend on our new track ‘Commotion.”
