On February 1, 2022, Illenium praised fellow electronic duo The Chainsmokers‘ new music via Twitter. After a long 2-year hiatus from producing, The Chainsmokers are on track to release another album.
In the meantime, Illenium visited the NY duo at their house for a studio session. Here is what he had to say about his time with them:
“Just got home from @TheChainsmokers house and got to listen to their new music. Shits fkn fire af. Extremely refreshing and timeless music.”
In addition, The Chainsmokers shared a picture with Illenium teasing that more music is in the works (see post below). The iconic electronic duos’ forthcoming album has no official date, but they keep releasing tunes.
