Space Ibiza Club, Bar, and Restaurant Sets For Launch in 2022

The Spanish Isle will be seeing a new adaptation of the iconic Space Ibiza real soon.

According to Space Ibiza owner Pepe Roselló, the adored venue will be revived once again in an entirely new way. It will serve as a music-themed restaurant and bar, located on San Antonio’s Sunset Strip, as well as a venue for certain club events.

Roselló aims to keep the “the spirit of Space” alive with its new rendition. The bar will feature music from Ibiza DJ, José Padilla, paying tribute to him after his death last year. In addition, plans are in the works for the venue to host an event series that will be held under the Sundays at Space Banner. However, details will be shared once “everything has been clarified and signed.”

The original Space Ibiza had its start in 1986 and ran until its unfortunate closure in 2016. Carl Cox advocated for the beloved venue’s return in 2018, leading for him to even name-check the team behind the club. Shortly after, Pepe Roselló proposed for the readapted venue to make its return in 2019. However, due to the pandemic, this preposition was delayed. Fortunately, it seems the venue founder is now setting eyes for 2022 as the official launch for the new establishment.

Stay tuned for updates.
