Belgium’s Rampage Festival Postponed Again Due to Omicron Fears

The biggest European Bass Music festival, Rampage, was supposed to take place in less than two weeks. Unfortunately, the new restrictions in Belgium due to Omicron fears decided otherwise.

On December 11 & 12 2021 we were expecting Rampage 2020. The festival went already through two postponements, from last year to March 2021, and again from March to December. With this new postponement, 2021 will be a Rampage-free year, of course talking about the festival. Fortunately, the Rampage Free-Party was able to take place last August.

Rampage 2020 will move to a new date, which will be March 18/19. The 2022 Rampage Weekend will thus be moved to a new date as well: 7 and 8 of October. All ticket holders will receive a clarification email. Overall, all tickets for March 2020 were automatically valid for December 2021 and will now be automatically valid for March 2022.

A few days ago, the Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike show in Belgium was canceled. Today, this kind of news feels like a nightmare Déjà-vu for all European and Electronic music fans. While we were all hoping for a way out and were starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, it seems like we’re probably not there yet.

This definitely puts many other European events and festivals at high risk of cancellation. Fingers crossed, and all our support goes to them for -once again- these very hard times. We hope to see you come back very soon.
