Momiji Tsukada, also known as Qrion, has two new singles titled ‘11-11‘ and ‘Your Love‘ out now on Anjunadeep. These two melodic deep songs are a perfect addition to the Anjuna family. Both have light, airy atmospheres with hypnotic basslines that show you why you love the label.

’11-11′ starts off with a mysterious instrumental melody. She starts off this one in an interesting way, reminiscent of Lutrell’s soundscape. Slowly it builds into the chorus and vocals echo in the background. Together, they melt into a symphony of soul. The staccato bassline in the back accompanies the melody and puts you into a trance the whole way through.

‘Your Love’ actually has a sunny ambience to it, as if you were on a beach and swimming underneath the shining sun. The bassline is prominent and driving, while the synthetic melody floats in the background. It’s a great tune, and perfectly produced. You feel quaint and happy while listening to it. There is a slight lull to its tone but it works you into emotion the longer you listen.

Qrion hails from snowy Sapporo, Japan, where she takes inspiration from her environments to cultivate her signature sound. This granted her a spot on Japan’s 30 Under 30, where she releases productions on Anjunadeep, Ultra Records, Last Night On Earth, and more. You may hear soft, exquisite beats or 90s dancefloor numbers from her, but she also proves to be an immaculate remixer as well. This track follows the sucess of her ‘Monolith‘ single on Sasha’s LNOE. She continued her momentum during the pandemic on tour with Spencer Brown acroess North America. With clout like that, we can be sure to see her at the next big festival. Already appearing at EDC Mexico, Groove Cruise Miaji, and Mat Zo’s Stratofest, she is one to look out for. Plus, she even played at Day Trip, Tomorrowland, and HARD.
