David Guetta Crowned #1 Again in DJ Mag Top 100 List

It’s been yet another weird year, but DJ Mag still announced its Top 100 DJs on schedule this year. There was no big live event again this year, so the entire thing still feels a bit off. Without shows for part of the year and then many areas where shows are still very limited, it feels like this list has to come with a bit of an asterisk. This year’s list features most of the DJs you know and love, and more than a few you have never heard of in your entire life (you know who they are). Who knew they were so popular?!

Highlights

David Guetta took home the #1 prize for the second year in row, as his future rave and melodic projects have been a hit around the world. Martin Garrix took the #2 spot this year, although his name was misspelled during the official announcement, and he was not pleased.

Armin van Buuren took home the #3 title and highest trance DJ ranking. Shockingly, Brazil’s Alok took home the #4 slot, leaving more than a few of us scratching our heads. Charlotte De Witte got the highest techno ranking at #23 with Carl Cox only slightly behind at 27.
