ZHU Releases New Documentary Called ‘Welcome to Dreamland’

One of the most influential and unique sounding producers of recent years has just released a new project but this time it’s not a track. ZHU has been on a tare over the past few years with releases that have inspired producers all over the world. With collaborations with some of the biggest names in the scene, there is no doubt this young producer has a creative mind unlike any other.

This past year, artists from around the world took a break in their tours as the pandemic hit. In new documentary with Amazon Music, ZHU details his journey back to the stage after a rough 2020. To commemorate the monumental achievement of a new documentary, ZHU hosted a movie premiere at Amazon Music’s headquarters in Williamsburg Brooklyn last night and EDMTunes was fortunate enough to be invited to attend the incredible event. Hosted by Ben Gill, head dance music programmer at Amazon Music, the event screened the entire documentary followed by a Q&A with the artist and director of the film. The 2 creative geniuses shared their past of how they met and befriended one another in college and their paths have finally crossed years later to produce this documentary. Following the event, ZHU hosted his very own after party where he performed a very intimate performance for 100 lucky fans who were randomly selected to attend the event.

‘Welcome to Dreamland’ shares ZHU’s personal story of how he overcame the musical pause during the pandemic and his return to the big stage. In record-breaking fashion, the musical genius has sold-out 6 Red Rocks shows which has never been achieved before but any musical artist that graced the stage of the legendary venue. His Dreamland Tour continues this Fall as he is set to perform 2 shows at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles early next month following by 3 shows in New York’s Advant Gardner venue.
