Disco Donnie Presents will introduce a brand new festival this year called Freakazoid Robots. The festival is set to take place in Ascarate Park, El Paso, Texas over Labor Day Weekend September 4 and 5. The company announced phase 1 of Freakazoid Robots, and it’s packed.
Even though not many details surfaced about the event itself, we can all agree that attendees will have a good time. The lineup includes Alesso, Gryffin, Jauz, Joyryde, Kayzo, Lane 8, Slander, Subtronics, Wax Motif and ZHU, among many others. With phase 1 having so many big names, we can’t wait to see what’s in store next for Freakazoid Robots. The festival will feature three stages, with a focus on techno artists on one of them.
Recently, Texas has been the popular location for festivals to establish themselves. Since the state continues to maintain a good vaccination campaign, it allows people to come together at big events. In fact, Texas hosted the first festival in over a year with Ubbi Dubbi, which was a big success.
The announcement of Freakazoid Robots comes hot off the heels of Disco Donnie being the first promoter to lead live entertainment into the post-pandemic era. As a matter of fact, two large-scale music festivals were held by them these past couple of months. Clearly, they were ready to get back in action and a lineup like this one proves it once again. Things are starting to look better and better for music fans.
