Brooklyn Mirage Re-Opens July 1 But There’s a Catch

After Miami kicked things off about a month ago, New York is finally planning to get back in on the fun. One of dance music’s most beloved NY venues, Brooklyn Mirage (Avant Gardner), will be reopening July 1. But there’s a catch.

Due to New York’s COVID passport requirements, the venue is only allowed to re-open at full capacity if 100% of attendees are fully vaccinated. That means you must be 14 days out from your final vaccine shot to attend a show. The venue will be using a system called CrowdPass to digitally verify the vaccination requirement. Instructions will be provided 7 days before events to use the system. The venue will also accept NY Excelsior Pass or physical vaccination cards.

The CrowdPass system will require you to fill out a waiver, pass a screening test, upload your vaccination card, and it will provide you an entry pass. Those who will not or cannot pass the screen before their event can request refunds. What do you think about this sytem?
