Electric Forest Postpones Festival to 2022

Electric Forest has postponed this year’s event to 2022. Due to the continued effects of the pandemic, fans will be unable to gather together at the enchanted forest.

Organizers announced the unfortunate news on their social media. Moreover, they state the postponement was the only viable option, as hosting the event in 2021 would not be possible.

“As the effects of the pandemic have continued, it has become clear that we are not going to be able to gather in 2021 and that postponing to #EF2022 is our only course of action.”

According to a statement made on the official website, the safety of attendees is important to the festival organizers. Therefore, to ensure fans are safe, they are moving forward with the difficult decision.

“While we all miss each other tremendously and can’t wait to connect again, the safety of the Forest Family and the community that hosts us remains of utmost importance,” the statement addresses. “This must be kept front of mind, along with the meticulous planning and coordination required to coordinate and produce our time together each summer in Rothbury.”

As Electric Forest postpones the event to 2022, they are giving ticketholders the option to refund or roll their passes over to next year. Organizers will confirm the official dates soon.
