“Halloween 2021 just got interesting.” Organizers of Outside Lands sure got that right! According to one of the festival’s recent posts, Outside Lands has been postponed to October 29 to 31. Aside from the dates, the lineup has also seen minor changes. While The 1975, Big Thief, and Beach House aren’t playing anymore, Glass Animals, Lord Huron, Flo Milli, Bartees Strange, and Kaytranada have been added.
The special Halloween edition of the festival will take place at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. 3-Day General Admission and VIP Passes have already sold out, with limited Golden Gate Club Passes still available here. Meanwhile, Single Day Passes will be released soon.
As the pandemic situation remains highly fluid, organizers continue to “[work] closely with local and state officials to create the safest festival experience possible.” The move to October, therefore, gives sufficient time to develop any new measures to do so.
