Excision Updates Fans on Lost Lands and Bass Canyon Return

Excision has given fans an update on Lost Lands and Bass Canyon. As the U.S. continues to see more progress towards the return of normal life, the bass artist explains the possibility of his shows returning in 2021.

The bass music icon took to social media to share a statement on the future of the bass music festivals. He begins by sharing his hopes for the return of music events in the near future and explains the process of making plans although the end of the pandemic still remains uncertain.

“Even though we are still unable to host and play shows like we used to, it’s slowly becoming safer as the weeks go by. We don’t know when live shows will come back in full force… But no matter what, we have to be ready.”

In the statement, Excision hopes that Lost Lands and Bass Canyon will return this year as COVID-19 vaccines are already being distributed around the country. However, if conditions remain unsafe, the festivals will be canceled.

“I’m extremely hopeful that it will be safe for events like Lost Lands, Bass Canyon and others to happen this year. But rest assured, if any event date approaches and the conditions are still unsafe at that time, them, then we will cancel them, or I will not perform at others. Your safety is my number one priority.”

Organizers are discussing new safety regulations for events once they make their epic return, according to the Excision update. However, for the music festivals, it is still too early to say what guidelines will be implemented at the time.

“No matter what, we will follow the guidance of our medical advisers in addition to city and state official guidelines, and we will keep you posted as the dates get closer.”
