It seems that each morning, we are hit with various headlines of hope or shattered hearts. The other day, Glastonbury 2021 was canceled just the other day. However, on the same day, news has started spreading about the beloved Electric Forest 2021.
It has been reported that the Electric Forest 2021 planning is still continuing! Even with COVID-19 still looming over our heads, the Rothbury Village Council has approved two additional weekends that will work if the late June dates do not pan out. Obviously, safety and health come first and that is why the dates approved are for later on in the summer. Both August 12th-15th and August 19th-22nd will hopefully give COVID a time to subside and the festival can return. While no official June dates were confirmed by Electric Forest, and none are currently displayed on the website, it can be expected that the dates would be June 24th-27th.
Here’s hoping! But Forest is one of the best at making sure the health and safety of its employees, volunteers, and attendees come first. It’s refreshing to see a festival working hard and planning in advance, just in case we have the chance to dance again.
