Three days before the start of ASOT celebrations, Armin van Buuren Reveals 950 of the Top 1000 ASOT tracks. These are the tracks that will be counting down on the radio show starting January 14 at 10 pm (CET).
For 20 years, trance music lovers have listened to A State Of Trance for the latest news in the genre. We have seen several changes to the concept over the years, but every 50 episodes there is a celebration. This one, of course, is one of the biggest.
Despite the pandemic and various other adverse situations, the celebration of one of trance will not stop. After an announcement on social networks about the dynamics of the countdown of the 1000 songs that have marked the genre, ASOT published the list of the 950 tracks chosen by the public a few months ago. The remaining 50 will be announced in the 5-hour special to air on January 21.
What is the A State Of Trance Top 1000 Countdown going to be like?
Presented by Armin van Buuren, Ruben de Ronde, and monthly show resident Ferry Corsten, the Top 1000 stream will feature everything from ASOT year mixes, exclusive interviews, and fan videos. It will end with the official countdown of the A State Of Trance Top 1000. This is a list of the most popular ASOT-played records of all time, based on the votes of the show’s fan base.
When the countdown stream ends on Thursday, January 21, the time will have come to dive headfirst into the 1000th episode of A State Of Trance. The broadcast will start three hours earlier than normal – at 5 p.m. instead of 8 p.m. (CET) – and will run through the final top 50 tracks of the A State Of Trance Top 1000. There will also be news concerning the upcoming ASOT 1000 celebrations.
