Amsterdam Dance Event Announces Digital Program for 2020 Event

Although we can’t be in Amsterdam for the annual Amsterdam Dance Event this year, the hybrid conference/event has shifted to a digital livestreaming platform for a COVID-friendly version of the 2020 event.

ADE’s new virtual experience runs from Wednesday, October 21 through Sunday, October 25. The program features an array of musical genres, studio tours, live premieres, interactive workshops, masterclasses, and much more. There’s no doubt that the ADE team put in some incredible behind-the-scenes work to make the event just as memorable online as it is in-person each year. The massive list of featured artists isn’t too shabby, either (to say the least): including Reinier Zonneveld, Pan-Pot, Lady STarlight, Joris Voorn, SOFI TUKKER, Carl Cox and many more.

Amsterdam Dance Event is taking it a level further than just your typical livestream, too – they’re hosting a virtual cycling race, titled Cycle to ADE, initiated by the Bridges for Music nonprofit to support underserved communities in South Africa. This event will happen on Wednesday, October 21 and will feature artists such as Richie Hawtin, Juliet Fox, Rebekah, and more.

The full program of ADE events is free, and you can explore the whole list of what’s happening + watch the streams here.
