Mat Zo Shares ‘Colours’ Feat. Olan Off Illusion of Depth

Mat Zo is back to build on the anticipation for his forthcoming album, Illusion of Depth, by releasing ‘Colours‘ featuring Olan.

The full body of work will be out on October 9 via Above & Beyond‘s Anjunabeats imprint which housed much of Mat’s music in the past too. Moreover, this marks the second track alongside Olan, following up ‘Problems‘ which released earlier.

Firstly, ‘Colours’ starts off with a filtering intro of synths and Olan’s vocals which takes a dive into a vibrant and infectious build. In addition, the distinct pop flare it has provides an exceptionally up-beat and fun groove. Simultaneously, Mat and Olan’s synergy is highlighted even further, showcasing how diverse they could be. The bridge gives a hypnotic sensation before punching back into the main body, this time hosting a shimmering arpeggio. Overall, ‘Colours’ acts as a reminder for Mat’s ability to not only create something infectious and catchy, but to also make it interesting with his sound design too.

MAD ZOO IN THE VOID

Topping off, you shouldn’t miss out on the upcoming MAD ZOO IN THE VOID on September 19-20. The Minecraft event will be featuring plenty of talented artists which you can see below. In the current climate put much of the music business to a complete halt. Notably, the artists and individuals behind this event are all getting paid and working hard to put this event on. Now, maybe more than ever, it’s pivotal to support the artists who are providing alternate solutions to support one another. It’s great to see them garner support from MSI, Audius, and Unitea.
