Apple has announced that the new iPhone 12 Upgrade will include a circular array of magnets inside the actual device. What will this mean?
The magnets will aid in aligning the device on charging pads. It will also allow for compatibility with car mounts and other magnetized accessories. Apple will be removing the standard wired charger from the boxes this year. This is in hopes to make wireless charging the norm and reduce e-waste.
The magnetic wireless chargers also open up a large platform to integrate and shape them into whatever designs and products Apple wants. With the recent releases of information about the iPhone 12 being so on the fence in regards to whats truly an upgrade and what has been downgraded, hopefully, this new change will allow for the bad battery rumors to be quelled.
