Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are back at it, and this time, they’re bringing Kim Loaiza & Azteck along for the ride. Kim Loaiza is a Mexican YouTuber, singer and vlogger, who some of you might know. Azteck, on the other hand, is a Writer/Producer/DJ, who most recently worked with Chico Rose & Afrojack on their track ‘Speechless’. DV&LM on the other hand, are a powerhouse duo who need no introduction.
That said, let’s get started on their new track, ‘Do It!’.
‘Do It!’
‘Do It!‘ starts off quick with a vocoded vocal and fat kick drum, just as we’ve come to expect from Dimitri & Mike. Soon after, we get a sweet synth lead that takes us back to the early 2010’s. Sounds like something Chuckie or Afrojack might’ve played – some Dirty Dutch, if you will.
Eventually, we get the rest of the drums, and we can’t help but get a tech house vibe from ‘Do It!’. When you add the catchy, singable vocals/lyrics of Kim Loaiza & Azteck to the mix, its easy to see that ‘Do It!’ is a radio ready banger. If festivals were going on right now, I’m positive we’d already have loads of videos from this tune ‘smashing the house’.
With a run time of 2:37, ‘Do It!’ is a fun one. While it’s not something I would personally play on a car ride, I could see this making waves on a dancefloor, or during a workout. DV&LM have a penchant for making catchy, fist-pumping music, and ‘Do It!’ is no exception.
