Terminal V Hosts Patrick Topping Livestream On New A/V Virtual Platform

Terminal V is launching a new A/V virtual platform tomorrow. Tune in to the live stream this Saturday, August 8th from 8 PM – 10 PM BST. Moreover, it’s taking place in Edinburgh, Scotland.

What is this all about? Well, to put it simply, the electronic music festival is testing out their latest concept: CONNECT. The inspiration of this comes from successful streamings of Maceo Plex, Alan Fitzpatrick, Rebuke, KiNK, and Luigi Madonna in April. Since the virtual world is so hot right now (thanks, coronavirus) we can now enjoy a new type of entertainment.

Terminal V CONNECT is a multi-platform streaming channel that will incorporate cutting edge technologies and push them to the next level. That includes more live, virtual and XR augmented reality streams from other artists. Most importantly, it aims to feature the very best international acts brought to audiences in the virtual world. Perhaps this may set the new standard for electronic music events.

Tomorrow, kick things off with Patrick Topping, performing an all-nighter set making his Trick debut. Starting at sunset, he’ll be playing from Edinburgh’s iconic Calton Hill, which overlooks the city. This is going to be an epic set.

What’s Terminal V Again?

Firstly, standing at the forefront of Scotland’s electronic dance scene is Terminal V, the leading EDM festival since its debut in 2017. Secondly, it often boasts a house and techno lineup of heavy hitters. Usually taking place at their longstanding home of Royal Highland Centre, this year makes things a little different.

The era of virtual creativity is just beginning with this lockdown. Will virtual events be here to stay in the future? This may be the Kickstarter for that question. We’ve seen what Tomorrowland can do, now let’s see what else we got.
