The rise of new house duo SIDEPIECE has been nothing short of meteoric. Consisting of both Party Favor and Nitti Gritti, this is a producer/DJ match made in heaven. It can be said they’re both exceptional producers in their own right, with massive tunes under their belts. The two came together last year and launched SIDEPIECE with a collaboration alongside Diplo titled ‘On My Mind‘, and it was an instant hit. Today, they hope to replicate that success with their first solo track, ‘Fallin For You‘. I think you’re going to like it.
‘Fallin For You’ features all the elements we’ve come to know and love house music for. It has a nice groove, a fat kick, and some rhythmic hats. Moreover, you can add a simple but sweet vocal sample to the mix as well. What truly makes this track shine is the sound design. It is easy to see that the production expertise & prowess that Nitti Gritti & Party Favor have flexed over the years in other genres, easily translate over to house music.
With a run time of only 4:11, this one is a vibe. If you’re into house music, it’s definitely something you want to give a few listens to. I for one, can’t wait for live shows to come back.
