BROHUG is back! House’s most powerful trio premiered today their latest EP, Mixtape 3. Containing 4 tracks, BROHUG delivers a masterclass on what underground house music is. Mixtape 3 premiered through BROHUG’s label BROHOUSE.
The Swedish trio, known for their explosive house sound is finally back with a sound that will definitely captivate their fans and any listener. Since forming their group back in 2016, BROHUG has had a stellar career. They’ve worked with big names such as Ghastly, remixed huge tracks, and classics such as Steve Angello‘s ‘KNAS’. They’ve founded their own label as well as released tracks on labels such as Confession, Spinnin’ Records, Dim Mak, and Musical Freedom. All thanks to their distinctive sound and unique take on house music.
Mixtape 3
The third part of BROHUG’s mixtape series contains nothing but fire. It contains 4 tracks. ‘Breach’, ‘Charge’, ‘Escape’, and ‘Stealth’. About this new project, the trio declared:
“The ‘Mixtape’ series continues with #3; a concept which we wanted to focus on in 2020, releasing crates of new music to move the dancefloors. While we all expected to be partying together this year, a different hand was dealt. The 4 tracks featured on Mixtape 3 were made during the beginning of shutdowns around the world, and we wanted them to represent and inspire the strength music can provide during crazy times. At times of uncertainty, sometimes the best thing we can do is listen to music, dance, and forget about the outside world, if only for a moment.” – BROHUG

If you’re someone who’s into the dark, underground sound of house music, this is the EP you need. The raw, strong sound BROHUG brings to the table is unmatched. This EP places them on par with the big names playing the house game right now. Instead of focusing on the big festivals and the mainstages, BROHUG takes their sound into the dark, small, and sweaty clubs. If you close your eyes you can almost feel yourself back at an underground rave. Hopefully, soon we’ll be able to experience this sound live and inside the scene we so much love: the underground.
