Matroda Drops Masterfully Crafted ‘Jack The House’ EP

French-born solo artist Matroda has become a worldwide name in dance music. His unique blend of G-house, bass house, and modern dark house has created club-friendly tracks with powerful emotion. Few artists unequivocally influence the genres that initially intrigued them. However, he holds this badge of honor with millions of plays and hundreds of shows under his belt. With these accomplishments, Matroda’s ability to craft club tracks has shown through effortlessly in his newest EP, Jack The House.

Diplo and Calvin Harris stood alongside Matroda’s initial burst that put him on the map, via BLANK. From there, Matroda has steadily released music and performed on the event circuit year after year. He established himself as a mainstay talent; his music has had plenty of support from A-list DJ friends as well.

Fast forward to 2020. His sound landed him tours around the globe. This included a North American tour pre-pandemic, which was subsequently cut short. He has now dropped a multi-angled album that captures both where he’s come from and where he’s been. Jack The House features four moment-capturing singles – and also sonically conveys the corners of musical focus he’s currently zoned into.

Alongside many new tracks featured, the solo artist also juxtaposed his recent track, “Deep Inside.” He remade the original and slapped a re-vamped name on it: “Deep Inside 2020.”

From banger build-ups and drops to emotional moments that strike through the use of instrumentation alone, Matroda illustrates something unique and performable with Jack The House. Take a listen to the full EP below.
