EDC Korea Postponed to 2021 Due to Coronavirus Concerns

Asia’s EDC Korea has been postponed until 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Planned to have occurred in August, for the first time, one of Insomniac’s EDC staples has just been dramatically affected. With the unknown future of the harmful virus, event organizers made this decision for the safety of attendees; they believe it is still too early to hold the music festival.

Ticketholders who purchased passes from HanaTicket, WeMakePrice, or Trazy will be able to attend the 2021 event. They will also receive additional benefits as a thank you gift for supporting Insomniac and the event. However, those unable to attend the new date or purchased tickets from KLOOK or Interpark will be able to request a refund. Make sure to keep an eye on your email and text messages for more information.

Hopefully, this new cancellation does not spell doom for other EDC events. EDC Las Vegas was recently rescheduled to take place this October while EDC Orlando is expected to take place in November. With the uncertainty of the coronavirus crisis, there is still no clear idea as to what the world will look like in the future. However, we will know more as the event dates come closer.

Stay tuned for updates on EDC Korea 2021.
