Lost Lands & Bass Canyon Canceled for 2020

Guys, hug a headbanger today. Dubstep’s major festival is canceled. Yeah, you read that right. Excision’s Lost Lands and Bass Canyon 2020 editions are canceled. One of the fastest-growing festivals in America informed their attendants today that this year’s edition would be canceled. Due to obvious reasons, neither Lost Lands nor Bass Canyon will not be returning this year. We will have to wait until 2021 to be reunited with bass music.

Lost Lands

2020 is canceled. That’s it. Every single big event has been canceled. This time, it was bass music’s turn. The USA based bass music festivals announced today that they will not go forward with their 2020 editions. In the year in which Lost Lands was supposed to have its third edition, the festival had to be canceled due to the pandemic situation. You can read the full announcement made by the Lost Lands Team on their Twitter account below:

So, there you have it. Both artists and fans have expressed their sadness. No one to blame except for the pandemic. However, not being able to enjoy a whole weekend filled with the best of bass music certainly saddens us. Hopefully, this year we’ll go by faster, and before we all know it, we’ll be able to join Jeff and countless other artists in what has become one of the community’s favorite festivals.

Hug your headbanger friends today. No one deserves to have their favorite weekend ripped to shreds outta nowhere. 2020 continues to strike the EDM community and industry. However, if we stay together, I’m sure we’ll soon be able to come back to the places and the people we love. Stay safe. Don’t go out unless you really need to. Together, we’ll beat this pandemic and come back stronger than ever. And, while it might not be the best feeling in the world, we can at least enjoy some of these artists during what will undoubtedly be the bass stream of the year when Couch Lands 2020 is announced.
