Its been a quiet quarantine season for everyone’s favorite bass-phoenix, Illenium – but for good reason. He simply “…[doesnt’t] have a new amazing show to showcase and ascend just finished and that’s online everywhere.” It sounds like a good enough reason for me. If you managed to catch the show for yourself, I’m sure that you would agree. That said, that doesn’t mean that Illenials worldwide have been starved for content. I say this, as Illenium has just released the remix album for his highly acclaimed third studio album, ‘Ascend‘.
While the album features numerous fan favorites, such as the ‘Good Things Fall Apart”s Slander remix and the ‘Hold On’ Midnight Kids remix, there are tons of other standouts included. Illenium even included Tiësto‘s big room remix of ‘Good Things Fall Apart’. A couple of my personal favorites that I wasn’t expecting are the Tisoki remix of ‘Hold On’, as well as the Drezo remix of ‘Blood‘. If you’re into psytrance, you won’t want to miss the Blastoyz & Ranji remix of ‘Take You Down’ either – it’s nuts.
