Carnage Announces First U.S. Drive-In Festival ROAD RAVE

The first drive-in festival to ever take place in North America has just been announced and it is officially coming to the state of Florida. Carnage, Disco Donnie, HTG Presents, and Medium Rare is bringing you The ROAD RAVE. During COVID-19, events have practically become nonexistent due to social distancing guidelines. However, it looks like this new event might be the start of a new future for music festivals.

The ROAD Rave will be taking place on Saturday, June 6th at The Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando from 7 PM – 11 PM. The lineup features bass music artists Carnage, Riot Ten, Blunts & Blondes, Nitti Gritti, and GRAVEDGR. The music festival will blend the drive-in movie concept with Carnage’s festival series RARE. It is taking place in the exact location RARE Orlando took place from 2016 – 2018. Capacity will be limited to 500 cars, allowing a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 people per car. It is expected to have a full festival main stage production.

How Will RAVE ROAD Function?

In order to attend the event, you must purchase a car pass that comes with the driver ticket. Those who will be riding in the vehicle must purchase a passenger ticket. In order to take part in the event, you must be 18+. If you plan to attend, then you should purchase your pass as soon as possible. Tickets are almost sold out! Carnage already confirmed there will be another stop announced soon.

Social Distancing guidelines will be heavily placed during The ROAD RAVE. Masks are encouraged to be worn at all times, especially if you must step away from your vehicle. However, attendees will be restricted as to when they are allowed to leave their vehicles. Restrooms will be available to use, but masks will be highly recommended and lines will meet social distancing guidelines.

A portion of the proceeds made from The RAVE ROAD and Carnage’s recently announced documentary The Price of Greatness will be given to the ANF COVID-19 Relief Fund. This will help those who reside in vulnerable communities in Nicaragua during the coronavirus pandemic.

After a huge success with Germany’s drive-in events recently, we hope The RAVE ROAD will be just as successful. The coronavirus has been affecting the entertainment industry extremely hard, so it can use some kind of a win. Truthfully, this music festival will set an example as to what other events can do during this pandemic.
