Above & Beyond Acoustic III Tour Will Not Return Until 2022

Recently, Above & Beyond’s Acoustic III tour was officially canceled due to the uncertainty of the coronavirus. Fans were reassured that the tour would be rescheduled. However, many speculated that it would return sometime in 2021. Unfortunately, Above & Beyond has announced that the tour will not take place until 2022.

According to their recent Above & Beyond statement:

“With a heavy heart, we’ve concluded it’s best if we cancel the Acoustic tour entirely for now and look ahead to spring 2022 instead. Taking Acoustic on tour is a big logistical challenge and sadly, with so many unknowns in our industry right now, we’re just not confident enough that we can present the tour we want to next year. So, we’re taking the long view and focussing on 2022, to give the tour the best chance of success.”

Some unfortunate Acoustic news.

As a result of the definite show cancellations, Above & Beyond will be refunding ticket holders. Unfortunately, there is not an option available to keep your ticket until 2022 due to possible changes for the Acoustic tour in the future. To make up for this, those who registered for pre-sale this year will be notified first about the new tour dates and sale.

Coronavirus has officially claimed another victim in the music industry. However, this is one of the first events that will not return until 2022, almost two years from now. Surely, Above & Beyond has made this tough decision in order to maintain the health and safety of their fans. Hopefully, the Acoustic III tour will be even better than expected due to the long wait time.
