Highly regarded British artist, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (TEED), released two remixes for Lastling‘s ‘Take My Hand.’ They come as two themes, ‘Sky‘ and ‘Earth‘, available via Astralwerks and RÜFÜS DU SOL‘s Rose Avenue label. On the release, Josh from Lastlings shared a few words about the remix’s origin.
“We’ve been massive fans of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs for years now. We briefly met him backstage at Beyond the Valley, the first festival we ever played 4 years ago! So it’s incredible to have a producer of his caliber remix our stuff.”

TEED’s remixes for ‘Take My Hand’ are named with consideration to each track’s prevalent ethos. On one end, the ‘Sky’ remix uses shimmering soaring synth notes and weightless, airy percussive elements which filter through the warm vocals. On the other hand, ‘Earth’ takes a thumping approach – laced with stabs for a moving tone in which vocals carry the breakdown.
