Proxy – Nervous

Russian producer, Proxy, has a new house track out titled ‘Nervous‘. Don’t let the title fool you, because it will actually make you go insane. We see its release on Mako Records, the artist’s very own imprint.

‘Nervous’ is an intense, aggressive track from start to finish. From the lyrics to the wild melody and drop, it’s a track that crosses multiple genres. Metallic synths reverberate in the background while the bass line drives the piece forward. It weaves hip-hop, house, and electro for an unbelievably hype movement. The beat is infectious and this song is quite an experience. These sounds are his from past and present. It is all true to his music.

Proxy is a mysterious maestro, through his creation of unusual and inexplicably extraordinary beats. His sounds are spellbinding but can takeover dance floors in a heartbeat. He has a high profile list of shows including EDC Las Vegas, Coachella, Creamfields, Hard Summer, Electric Zoo, I Love Techno and many more. Spanning over a decade of performances, his sound is dark and beautiful. Always staying true to himself, he inundates the bass scene with his raw sound. That reconstruction of his is atypical to the current EDM scene, but we appreciate its futuristic vibes and razor-sharp hooks. We can break our necks without actually breaking our necks through those hypnotic breakdowns and jagged synths.

He has worked with the likes of Marilyn Manson, Moby, Peaches, Tiga, Boys Noize, and others. Above all, his music tells us what to do, but never why. He asserts, “your ears may be afraid but your body will complete its labor”. Curious to find out more?
