The International Dance Music Awards were virtually presented this past week. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the prestigious awards took place online via social media channels.
It was the 34th edition of the ceremony which normally takes place during the Miami Winter Music Conference. The International Dance Music Awards recognizes top artists, brands, labels, festivals and pretty much everything related to the EDM scene. The event was scheduled to take place on March 19th but due to the COVID-19 epidemic, this glamorous event was moved back to April 1st.

Avicii left a beautiful album titled ‘TIM’ as part of his legacy, and this well-deserved award proves that he is still very much present in our hearts. Also, Belgium’s local DJ heroes, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, won best male artist for the fourth time after receiving it in 2014, 2015 and 2016. In addition to DV&LM’s best male artist award, Tomorrowland also reached the top of the list in the events and festivals category.
