FISHER Drops 2-Track EP, ‘Freaks’

It’s April Fools Day, but this not a joke. Australian DJ-producer FISHER has just dropped his new two-track EP, titled Freaks. Last month, we shared the title track; and from the looks of things, fans ate it up. Today, we prepare for the exact same, as the second track has also been released, completing the Freaks EP. This track is titled ‘Wanna Go Dancin, and I think you are going to love it.

‘Wanna Go Dancin starts off with the classic tech-house hats, claps, and kick. Soon after we get the groovy bassline, and title singing vocals. ‘Wanna Go Dancin wouldn’t be a FISHER track without his signature Reese-like bass, which luckily, this one contains. At 1:25, we get the drop and it is one that we can’t help but find ourselves dancing to.

If you’re a fan of FISHER, tech-house, or just groovy, danceable music, you’re gonna love this track. ‘Wanna Go Dancin has a runtime of exactly three minutes, so that means you don’t have to wait too long for things to get going. On the other hand, ‘Freaks’ is a little shorter, running at 2:55. With the EP running a total of around 6 minutes, this is just enough to get us going. You might want to listen to the EP a couple of times, just to take all of the production intricacies in. FISHER’s Freaks EP is out now on Catch & Release / Astralwerks, and can be streamed below. Enjoy!
