Techno icon and DrumcodeRecords‘ head honcho Adam Beyer has just given away one of the best sets carved out in 2019. It is a known truth that Adam’s B2B sets with his Swedish compatriot Eric Prydz’ techno moniker Cirez D always generates that extra wave of excitement. Courtesy of the latest episode number 507 of Adam’s weekly podcast Drumcode Radio (DCR), Adam has unleashed his B2B set with Cirez D played on the 25th of August last year at Steel Yard, Creamfields, United Kingdom. This was duly shared by Eric as well, probably as an indication of a friendly approval.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Ultra Music Festival in Miami that they were scheduled to play in last month was cancelled with a host of others. Consequently, this episode was a fresh breath for not only the fans of both the legends, but the overall global techno addict. What we were able to lay our hands on was more than 2 hours pure, sublime techno. It comprises of tracks from the two maestros as well as the likes of Niels Van Gogh, Julian Jeweil, Layton Giordani, Timmo and more.
