Tomorrowland Shares Updates About This Summer’s Edition

The world and music scene are facing one of their worst crises. While we were optimistic a few weeks ago, today the situation is developing rapidly, and cancellations of summer events are becoming a real concern. After Tomorrowland Winter got canceled due to the Coronavirus outbreak, today we know more about how things are going for Tomorrowland Belgium 2020.

In an interview with a Belgian newspaper, Tomorrowland’s spokeswoman Debby Wilmsen gave details about the topic. She explained that there are no “actual indications” for the festival’s cancellation.

Belgian virologist Marc Van Ranst said a few days ago that keeping summer festivals such as Graspop (June 18-21), Rock Werchter (July 2-5) and Tomorrowland (July 17-26) is too risky, and therefore they should be canceled. “But he explained that it is too late to make definitive conclusions”, says Debby Wilmsen.

Actually, there are no artist cancellations so far. Of course, we do not host very big productions like other festivals. DJs travel alone in general.

However, the festival is already taking some measures. For example, tickets that are dedicated to Boom residents will be available in June, instead of April.
