These events include Bassnectar‘s Deja Voom Music Festival, Get Lucky Festival, Lightning in a Bottle, Avant Gardner events, and Exchange LA shows. Due to the coronavirus outbreak that is currently sweeping the country, event organizers are taking precautions for the safety of their fans.

Deja Voom

Popular DJ and producer Bassnectar has announced that Deja Voom Music Festival will be canceled due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. According to the talented artist:

We are viscerally concerned about the health, safety and well-being of our friends and family, as well as our communities and our society at large.

Later in the statement, Bassnectar urges fans to be patient, generous, calm, and more while loving and treating everyone with respect. Lastly, they urge everyone in their community to follow guidelines issued by the Center for Disease Control & Prevention.

Lightning in a Bottle

Unfortunately, California music festival Lightning in a Bottle will not take place this year due to the Coronavirus. They’ve shared out an official announcement about its cancellation. This event was expected to take place this May during Memorial Day Weekend. However, due to the uncertain future in regards to the virus, the festival has taken early precautions. According to their statement, “The health and safety of our attendees, our amazing staff, crew, vendors, artists, and supporters is priority number one. In light of all this, it has become clear that putting on the festival in May is not currently possible.”

Truthfully, the future of Lightning in a Bottle is now uncertain. As the announcement states, “Beyond losing the Memorial Day date for LIB 2020, we are unfortunately not able to provide further details on LIB’S future status at this time. The situation remains fluid and we are working through various scenarios to determine our options.”

Certainly, this cancellation may be affecting the event drastically. Hopefully, we will hear some good news about the future of the music festival soon.
