Lollapalooza Postpones Lineup Announcement, Ticket Sales

Lollapalooza is currently slated to take place on July 30th – August 2nd in Chicago. Due to the coronavirus pandemic that is currently sweeping the country, the future of the event seems to be uncertain. After two international destinations of the event were canceled, there has been a major concern about whether the main show will take place. Usually, during this time, the festival announces the lineup and ticket sales begin. However, they’ve both been postponed.

According to a statement made by Lollapalooza on social media:

“Right around this time every year, we come together to celebrate the announcement of another incredible Lollapalooza lineup. For now, we are at home, taking care of each other, listening to music, and dreaming of summertime in Chicago.”

In addition to this statement, the festival has also shared that they are currently working with local officials to ensure when the festival will be safe to take place. They will provide updates as soon as possible but, unfortunately, this year’s event still remains uncertain.
