Live Nation Pausing Tours Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted the music scene and events. Events and festivals have been cancelled due to these health concerns. Amid all this, Live Nation is preparing to put a halt to all domestic and international tours.

The company told its employees earlier today that as large gatherings around the world are being cancelled, Live Nation will be postponing arena tours through the end of the month. Company executives state that March is a generally slow month for them and they’ll re-evaluate the situation at the beginning of April. Their goal is to resume touring in May or June if the situation allows.

Despite these changes as a result of COVID-19, Live Nation is still in a good position. They won’t layoff any staff during this period of time. Employees will be working remotely for their own health and safety.
