Diplo has been all around the music scene and has a couple of front-runner hits to maybe win a Grammy. Skrillex, on the other side, has been real busy producing new beats. With 5 years already separating the release of the Jack Ü album, a new one seemed distant if even possible. Until now.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Diplo was asked about the multitude of things. The three-time Grammy winner stated that he expects to get three more awards this year, and we are really rooting for him. Diplo collaborated with Beyoncé on The Lion King’s soundtrack and also remixed the 2019 hit ‘Old Town Road‘. But what really had our ears tingling was the things he had to say about Jack Ü.
The interviewer asked about the multiple teases Diplo has released about the project. The producer stated that the project could be banding together again sometime next year. He also talked about the fact that Skrillex is sitting a bunch of a new music! Nothing really specific, but one can only hope.
While this is possibly a longshot, since Diplo only said that the return could be next year, he also stated he has been working on multiple ideas for the project. Making clear that he is not rushing anything, the Mississippi native assures he is just waiting for Skrillex to be ready. We hope you guys are as excited as we are. This could be huge.
