Ultra Unveils A State of Trance 10-Year Anniversary Lineup

Trance fans heading to Miami in March have one less thing to wonder about. Ultra Music Festival has unveiled the lineup for A State of Trances 10th anniversary edition, and it’s an eclectic mix of the genre’s top-tier performers.

Ultra dropped the lineup for Armin van Buuren‘s ASOT label on Thursday with a video and Facebook post stating, “Ultranauts, prepare to escape this universe and enter A State Of Trance next month as we celebrate 10 years at Ultra with Armin van Buuren and many more!

Lineup, In Alphabetical Order:

-Aly & Fila
-Andrew Rayel
-Armin van Buuren
-Gareth Emery
-Ilan Bluestone
-Markus Schulz
-RODG
-Ruben de Ronde
-Sander van Doorn presents Purple Haze
-Tritonal

A probable opener is RODG, “one of the best kept Armada Music secrets” according to Armin’s record label. Armin’s ASOT radio show co-host Ruben de Ronde and sing-along tracks master Tritonal will also likely play early.

The rest of the timetable is a tossup.

Sander van Doorn returns with his tech-trance Purple Haze alter-ego, three years after presenting it for the first time at Ultra. Aly & Fila, Andrew Rayel, Markus Schulz and Anjunabeats star Ilan Bluestone all promise solid performances.

Meanwhile, Gareth Emery is making a big showing. The artist is gearing up to release his fourth album and is slated for ASOT as well as his Laserface show at the Live Stage.

Of course, we expect Armin to close. Last year, the legend played an epic 3.5-hour set on short notice when Eric Prydz missed his due to an acute medical condition. What could Armin have up his sleeve after taking fans on that journey through progressive house, techno, uplifting trance, and numerous IDs?

ASOT devotees are in for a different experience at Bayfront Park this year. On Halloween, Ultra announced that ASOT, a Sunday tradition, will take place on Saturday for the first time ever.

Also, for the second year in a row, Resistance is occupying the megastructure stage all three days. That leaves trance fans who were disappointed with ASOT at the Live Stage last year curious about where Armin’s curated stage will land. So it’s going to be a novel experience, to say the least.
