Breakaway Announces 2020 Calendar, Expands to 2 New Locations

Breakaway Music Festival just announced its 2020 calendar and it looks like they’re expanding. Specifically, Washington D.C. and San Diego are the two new locations that will be added to the hit list. Now, there will be six cities that get to appreciate this tastemaking event. This expansion makes Breakaway one of North America’s fastest growing multi-city music festivals, which is continuously known for its eclectic lineup of performers.

Over the years, they have curated lineups with big name artists across all genres. Some of these include Platinum rapper Future, indie-rock duo 21 Pilots, trap lord RL Grime, Astroworld kingpin Travis Scott, and Worlds creator Porter Robinson.

In the press release, Breakaway co-founder Adam Lynn said:

“Our mission has always been to provide real fans with a true music festival experience, at a price they can actually afford. We’re thrilled to bring Breakaway back for 2020 and even more so to expand our presence into the San Diego and Washington D.C. markets. Stay tuned for lineups and programming in the next couple of months.”

Breakout Music Festival is also partnering with renowned global clubbing and hospitality leader Drai’s Las Vegas to bring a luxurious VIP experience to the event.

You can check out dates and cities for all six events below. Venue choice and lineup announcements are still to be determined, but per Breakout Music Festival’s website, it looks like we will be getting updates in spring. However, loyalty presale tickets will be available February 24, and you can register for those here.
