Australian DJs to Play At Make It Rain Festival In Support of Bushfires

The Australian bushfires have taken over our TVs and newsfeeds over the past few weeks. We have seen the terrible destruction these fires have left on the beautiful country. Countless numbers of animals have been killed and many people’s houses have burned down. The tragedy has hit us all right in the heart.

However, newly announced Make It Rain Festival is looking to create some positivity. 100% of the profits raised will go to bushfire charities. The fundraising relief effort will help rebuild the Aussie native land. Australian DJs are leading the effort to put an end to these fires. The festival is scheduled for January 29th in Los Angeles and consists of entirely Australian artists.

The lineup consists of many big names including What So Not, Vassy, Nina Las Vegas, and PNAU. The event leaders had this to say about the relief event:

“The feeling of complete helplessness got too much for us here in LA, and we knew we needed to channel our energy into something bigger than ourselves. We’re stoked to see how the dance music community has been so supportive of this cause and we look forward to seeing our friends and family at Academy on January 29th”

If you want to dance for a great cause you can buy tickets here! While this festival has no control over the weather, we do hope Australia can receive more rain and extinguish these awful fires. We know you all love to dance so why not do it while supporting Australia.
