Rakastella Brought Unique Beach Vibes to Art Basel 2019

Virginia Key Beach is one gorgeous place. So gorgeous that Ultra Music Festival bet big on the location for its new Resistance Island concept in 2019. While Ultra 2019 came under intense scrutiny and complaints, everyone agrees that Resistance Island was a delight. Now that Ultra is returning to Bayfront Park, Rakastella is the best way to return to those carefree island vibes with underground music.

Set in the same Virginia Key Beach, Rakastella brings much more of an indie feel to its surroundings and its production, but that doesn’t mean its anything short of spectacular. Beyond the whimsical stage setup and production, you have amazing talent performing like Ame, Dixon, Soul Clap, and many many more.

The added beauty of Rakastella is that it goes well into the wee hours of the morning so you can take in the gorgeous sunrise from one of the most picturesque locations in all of Art Basel. Add Rakastella to your must-see list for the next Art Basel.
